    Covered financial stories originating from the White House, Congress, the Supreme Court, the Federal Reserve, and federal agencies. Stories included federal tax issues, international trade, and policy makers. Selected to cover President Reagan’s trip to the World Economic Summit in Tokyo.

    Developed the station’s first business beat to include coverage of major local employers, including Walt Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World. Developed documentary series on state-run gambling and tourism for the top-rated news program in Central Florida.

Winner of two national awards and nominated for five Emmy awards for broadcast writing and reporting.
